    And sorry for the bad sound quality, but i have not a pro camera...

  • kt66's and 6l6's. kt 88's and el34's have too much of a difference in plate voltage requirements, a stock PT couldnt deliver the juice even if you had a quad adjustable bias for each tetrode. kt66's and 6l6's are very simillar and could be used under one bias probe without MAJOR harm or current draws shorting internal B+ diodes that control current flow across the sets of tubes.

  • yea you can. as long as they're in pairs and you install a second biasing circuit like most amps have anyways.
