I dont get it.... I am 16, born and raised in a society with techno and other electric crap, and still this is bliss to my ears, and that while this music is from late 50's! this is such an awesome piece. I get tears to my eyes everytime I listen to it. guys, have an awesome time together, cheers!

Well Nurse Ratched, I was just wondering if you could turn the music down a little bit so that maybe some of the guys can have a conversation without having to shout all the time.

this takes me back to my youth, sitting in the cinema in the fifties, they always played this in the interval, wonderful memories, you just dont hear string orchestra,s play anymore

@caesare100 To selectively listen to music from a certain era when a genre was at it's pique in popularity and assume that music from our current era cannot come close to that of past eras is ignorance in music at it's finest. Reconsider what's going on around the world in music right now and maybe if you searched hard enough you might find the gems that I have. Do not discount something just because it was made in a different time period.

This song was, is and will always be phenomenal, a great orchestra performing it.

@morikahjo only joking :)
Like the uploader, Lime Popsile, I think i was about 16 when I first heard this around 1980ish driving around fort lauderdale in my 1972 Plymouth Valiant listening to the "music of your life" station. This recording had such a profound effect on me that the first time I hear I literally almost went into a trance and drove off the road. I didn't but I could have. Thank you for having great taste in music!!
