Tracie discusses disconnection by using a radio interview with Christopher Hitchens as an example. The interviewer does not understand why Hitchens will not agree with him. Matt Dillahunty and Tracie Harris host this clip from The Atheist Experience #638 - http://www.atheist-experience.com

The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin. The ACA is a non-profit organization, promoting positive atheism and the separation of church and state. If you would like to donate please do so at http://www.atheist-community.org/donate/

  • I love Tracie - she's great

  • Wait, I missed it, did Tracie say that Friel reminded Hitchens that the hypothetical is that God is real and Hitchens said I understand? Because she didn't repeat that part enough in this clip.

  • the interview she is talking about makes me embarressed i was EVER a christian. i cant imagine what the practicing christians felt about it.

  • She just narrated the interview, what a waste of time. Give the caller the URL, fuck.

  • @ac1th

She's describing an interview where the interviewer kept repeating the same point, again and again. I saw the interview, and she nailed it.

  • @vittoriacolona

    Sometimes people change their thinking.

  • @crapatev

    I think everybody does.

  • Hitch was one of a kind. I think he booked himself on that show because he just wanted to have some fun :D

  • @yankwilliams no matter how you try an sensationalize your delusions, nobody is impressed here.

  • a woman with a brain is so sexy

  • @yankwilliams "Would a bornblind person believe anything here without faith? They have to take our word that it exists."

Yes, they could believe things without faith because they have their other senses to compensate for lack of sight, particularly their sense of hearing and touch.

Get the facts about how blind people determine what exists or not. You can start by reading books about Helen Keller and books SHE'S written.
