@PianoMusic37 But then we'll have people marrying animals (even though the state of Washington has no laws against having sex with animals), pedophiles marrying children (even though they are currently allowed to marry, just like other criminals and children as young as sixteen can already marry in certain states) and even mother and son marrying (even though we already allow first cousins to be married in the state of California and all states allow second cousins to be married if they desire.

The people arguing that gay marriage should be banned don't have a real argument. Reason WILL prevail, and prop. 8 WILL be overturned. They never actually had a right to ban it. It's not a "popular opinion" issue. It's a human rights issue. Oppression is oppression, no matter what the majority says!

Thats a retarded example. Gay people only want the same right as you not a different right. If you are allowed to marry a dog then we want the same but thats not the case. Besides we're not worried. The supreme court will overrule this as its so blatently discrimatory.
