@666demonicarum Nightwish ruined the song for me, so much that I hated the song before I heard the original. Even though, I've come to appreciate Moore's version. But Testament definitely put some serious power into this one.

I actually never heard the original version....Its the same with Nightwish or Thyrfing with "over the hills and far away" ...way cool music. When I heard the original wow so soft haha ( Gary Moore rocks though)...so in doubt wether to listen to original...maybe some day...but this version rules \m/

PS: In my opinion, there's no a better version, they both are very different. But I prefer the Aerosmith's version, by far.

I actually never took to this song as a Testament song, not knowing it was a cover. I don't think it really translates. It's a heavy song when Aerosmith does it, but it's a bit flat for Testament. And this is coming from someone who likes Testament better!

im not a big aerosmith fan, but this is one've there songs that i ended up really digging! and of corse, a great thrash band covered it. ;) says SOMETHIN i think.

Harmony on "out of rhyme and reason..." none. Lead guitar, follows Joe Perry's path, but typical to today's sound compared to Perry's intricate playing style. Tyler's vocals, too, are unmistakably distinct. Let's not forget Whitford, Hamilton, and Kreamer. The album title says it all. AEROSMITH "ROCKS". They are as original as any band could ever be and their music lives on for a reason. Maybe not your style but as good, if not better than, any has ever been!!!!!!!
