  • in a real tournament i believe your oponent could have made an argument for a win.

Only with a king and bishop, you can mate the oponent if the mated king is in the courner and the knight is in an adjacent square.

  • I think it depends on the rules of the tournament - I am not sure in long games, that you can win on time if you personally don't have mating material, and would have to rely on help-mate scenarios. But in blitz tournaments, depending on the rules, you are right of course.

  • dude your games are really fun to watch. keep making vids

  • thanks for posting, kingscrusher

    nice punishment of 48. g4

  • 9:03 "What the hell was that about?"

    It was forced!

  • Man, you're on a roll lately...

  • Impossible to win with only the bishop. even if he helps you, unless its a rare situation. R and knight vs B. it technically is draw since kc lost on time.

  • nope. While that is indeed can be mate, there is no way to force that to happen. You would have to WANT to lose for that to happen.

  • sorry i meant her queen

  • at move 20 when you did Bh4, couldnt you just have retreated the knight to f5? he couldnt take with the pawn because of the pin on his queen? just wondering

  • Shame about the clock. I thought you might just get mate. Thanks for posting Kingscrusher.
