Only 3 options then right?Directly under right eye;directly under left or dead center under your chin to be the most accurate shotmaker in pool? Rubbish! Many problems involving fundementals or sighting in pool have already been solved by snooker players. Everything from a perfect stance to, set-pause-shoot have been developed because you have to be 10 times as accurate on a 6x12 snooker table.The elite top 16 pot like gods with the cue in various postions under their chins. Can also look at a far away object, hold out your thumb at arm's length, and block it with your thumb. Close either one of your eyes to see which one shows the thumb actually blocking the object. A little easier to do no matter where you are. :)

All shotgunners are acutely aware that there are people with dominant eyes and some people with equal dominance. Earl Strickland is the best example in pool of a dominant eye player. watch him as he aligns his right eye over the cue. Feijen also.

Dr Dave has a great series of instructional videos you should watch. Just look him up on youtube and sift through his videos.
