It certainly did effect the lives of soo many....especially all the times they shouldn't have won...politics in EMBA always prevailed.

the end of an era, indeed. wow. even the notion of an NHS band program with the conspicuous absence of Mr. Smith is difficult to comprehend. it's incredible; nearly 15 years after graduation, that man's ethos, his values, and his famous, de rigeur mantras pop up regularly--even if only subconsciously. welp, it looks like I have to drag my butt up there for one last show. it's been too many years. This year wil mark the end of an era when Band Director Jeff Smith retires. An unbelieveable run that affected the lives of a good many young people.
