  • Wow! Yet another surprise! I'm in charge of our local Observatory, Cerro Los Cuatro Vientos (well, me and 3 more friends). We're not working yet since the facility needs some fixing and some equipment because it was vandalized. My knowledge of astronomy is rather precarious, but I'm a great enthusiast.

  • I probably know even less than you do, but I do fancy myself an enthusiast as well (of course, you probably have a much more spectacular view than I do.....)

  • I'm grateful you didnt tie this to a conspiracy and pointed out countless coincidences.

    5/5

  • Cheers. Granted, I always keep an open mind, but I like to look at the more probable explanations first.

  • its the result of a cymatic harmonic vibration caused by the magnetic frequency of the planet's core. the guys who replied before r huge idiots and i hope they read this and realize what huge idiots they r!

  • I and many others hypothesize it's the result akin to a recent discovery with Platonic fluids. Saturn being mostly liquid spinning with such a speed (although we don't truly know how fast) and the tilt results in the same phenomenon. But... still wonderous whatever the true cause :+)

  • From the looks of it, I would simply attribute it to an extraordinary weather pattern influenced by polar factors. Who knows for sure, but whatever the cause, it certainly is wonderous.

  • What does this hexagon mean in particular?

  • I really couldn't identify any dot. Could you possibly create a screen capture of it?

  • look at 0:04.5 or thereabouts... I have seen this small white dot on all these Saturn Hexagon videos. it appears lower mid-left and is gone by 0.5 sec... odd
