@selektorat don't be daft. Pavarotti's a long time dead now. Not his fault that U2's best days are behind them. It happens all bands that don't disintegrate early. Look at the rolling stones for instance. BTW Pavarotti's singing is the best thing about this track. It goes into a new dimension when he starts.

A nice song turned complete turd by Pavarotti's appearance, marking the end of U2 who never released a good record since. "Passengers" album was an attempt to acknowledge Brian Eno as a real band member (he was the brains behind "Achtung Baby" and "Zooropa", U2's best stuff). Having him as a band member didn't really wor.
