Rush Hour Karting, July 31, 2011 - Fast Time of Day in 960p

I was in a fast, newer, less abused kart for one heat on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Rush Hour Karting in Garner, NC. I set the fastest time of the day (FTD) at 30.010s and it stood for at least until 5:30 PM when I left. Given that my time was 3rd fastest of the month, I'm confident that I kept FTD.

Video was recorded on a GoProHD attached to my helmet in 960p mode.

@tbirchar UMADBRO? You should check your reading comprehension as i didnt say 9 HP kart. Ill make it easier for you.. check your own words as well- 'i put the fast kart where it wont enter regular rotation!' 'I was in a fast, newer, less abused kart' 'much newer less abused kart' 'kart is obviously VERY good'! got it. Maybe you meant KART is good, DRIVER is so-so. if it was the staff that put you in the kart (and you werent begging for it) then you are obviously a regular.

@tbirchar I don’t claim to be the fastest, but I’ve run multiple 29’s, weighing 180+ in a older, abused,‘regular rotaion’ kart having only ever been there FOUR times ever. You should check your line in turn one that’s killing your exit of turn 2. You obviously havnt figured out the chicane either. Good luck breaking 30. Get rid of that beer gut and it’ll probably help.

@tbirchar Sweet work. Over 7 months as a local and you figured out to hug the left rails at T1 and the chicane and gained 1 second. Did someone have to tell/show you or did you figure it out on your own? Trim down that waist too? Wish i could be as cool/fast as you, but i live 2 hours away, thus why ive only been there 4 times.
