Yes he did, but they did not include it in the finale. They only showed two songs for Clay and two for Ruben.

I remember just sobbing when Ryan called Ruben's name instead of Clay's that night. it's kinda odd how he came in second, but he seems to have had a much more successful career than Ruben did. Clay keeps singing today while Ruben just seems to have disappeared

Clay Aiken is a class act. You don't see a lot of people like him on AI. He is truly one of a kind. :-) Not to mention he's got one heck of a voice!

I could watch this over & over & over. It gives me chills every time. Clay should have won, he is the only contestant to ever give me chills like that. Ruben to me always sang in a monotone it seemed to me that all his songs sounded the same. Clays range was unbelievable.
