Slipknot & Bleeding Through comparison

Well, like it says in the video I recently got a new album, by a band called Bleeding Through. The name of the album was Declaration, and when I listened to the title track, I noticed it sounded very similar to People = Shit by Slipknot. Also mentioned in the video are the similarity between the title of the song and a line in another Slipknot song. It may just be a very large coincidence, but I thought I'd show everyone.
Also, before anyone says it, the Slipknot songs came out before the Bleeding Through songs, just so nobody says Slipknot copied them.

I'm gonna say it's a coincidence.

There's also the small chance that they may have used the Slipknot song as inspiration for their song.

Either way, it's about 15 seconds of a song on their 5th album, so it's not like they got famous because of the intro part of this song.

Slipknot uses a the down blast beat with a china accent, Bleeding through uses the original blast beat with accents on the ride bell and the biggest difference is the two riffs played. I thought though that would have been obvious.

These are two entirely different types of bands. If anyone knows bleeding through they'll understand what i'm saying. Plus youll never hear BT on the radio. At least bleeding through has put out 5 good albums consistently, going on 6 this year. Where as slipknots last real good album was Iowa. Not bashing the new ones, but they're soft, and not angry anymore. So lost my intrest. That's just me

dude, its just the usual blast beat/scream intro that alot of metal bands use. its a great way of getting the energy up!!
