The Basewood Beard

On August 1st 2008, Alec Longstreth cut off all his hair, and vowed to not cut his hair again until he finished his graphic novel, Basewood.

Each time Alec finished penciling or inking a page of Basewood, he would take a photograph, which can all be seen in this Flickr set:

When Alec finally finished Basewood, I edited together this film, using the photographs and some images from Alec's book.
