PRB Birkin S3 Clubman, 4AGE 20V AE101 Silvertop on the Dyno - Tweakit Performance

http://www.tweakit.net - We've recently Dynotuned our customer Leigh's S3 Lotus Super Seven Replica. It runs a completely standard (internals) Toyota Levin AE101 4AGE 20V 1.6L DOHC engine with a close ratio Ford Escort 5 speed RWD gearbox. We built the custom side pipe exhaust for it fitted our Ram Tubes, Piper Cross filter and fabricated the carbon fibre intake scoop. Then we tuned the Motec on the Mainline Dyno to milk the 108kW (145HP) at the wheels out of the factory motor. Considering the car only weighs around 550kgs, it's rocketing around Sydney's race tracks, regularly winning it's class.

@bennyr81, When you drive one, I think you'll find they are as good as appear :) A real drivers car. Just equipped with the essentials, and not much else... which means at 550kg it's a beast on the road and track... I'm editing some track highlights from this car at the moment...

Man that car looks and sounds great, I just got the head back for my S4 Super seven and hope to have some video up after the 29th aug Track day at Manfield NZ, Will be Rallying , Circuit Racing and Gravel sprinting the MX5 in Aug too and will see what I can do about getting better video without the top of the windscreen in the way. @0Robokill0, Thanks, we actually tuned the Motec that was in the car already. We've got a spare motor for the customer, so I expect sometime in the future we'll be building a motor with lightweight forged pistons, cams, etc, etc...
