Oh, Frankie has some skills this time around

One of the best games ever made, still brings a nostalgia tear to my eye. Sad that my cartridge is actually worn out beyond playability now, and emulators just kinda...well suck. They capture the sounds incorrectly.../picky

I don't know if I prefer blood or slime in this stage. Blood makes it look more wicked, but slime (or acid if you prefer) has its charm too.

In the Japaneese\\ version the green slime in this level is red (blood)

@Laveticus Yeah, I have it on the Xbox 360.
I gotta say, it's fun to play, but the story development left me with a lot of questions.
They didn't took too much time to explain some points, as for example: Gabriel is a Belmont, but he COULD also be a bastard son of the Cronqvist family...
There is much more. I don't say it is not fun or good to play... I just feel that it lacks something else to relate this game to our good ol' Castlevania games...
We miss them so much.
Thanks for your reply!

Thank you!
And yeah, some of the parts are vicious in this level. Definately this most heart-pounding stage besides the very last one.

@Laveticus That's the hardest part of the stage. i remember playing this stage and not knowing how to walk and kneel at the same time. So I used to try to get through the spikes with out getting hit. I did it once but thankfully I learned the kneeling trick. As for the steps that flash away. The way I do it is look for the ones that just appear. And head for them otherwise you will fall through to death. Nice Job Though.

I remember this level...and how much I cursed at the screen when I died, particularly at the very end with the disappearing platforms and the spikes. Definitely one of the harder stages in the game.
See these games??
These games were awesome, had incredible music and graphics and were FUN TO PLAY!!!!!!
And, they're were made with 4 Mb at the most!!!
Today we may get crappy games made with more than 2.0Gb and they're not as fun as these games!!!
We miss the old times.

You're a very wise individual.
In the great words of the avgn, "Better graphics don't make a better game."
This is still my personel fav to this day, as you'll see it's at the beginning of my video game playlist. I'm still gonna get to II and III at some point and upload them too.
But you should actually check out some of the videos of the new one, "Lords of Shadow". Looks pretty good. I didn't care for the ps2 ones, but this new one looks promising.
