Modelling Mikovic's oscillation system with free beam end loaded with pendulum. As seen from video all the energy from one pendulum transfers to another pendulum. The same thing will happen if we load system with any machinery instead of pendulum.

  • Whoa! Cool. I'm not a physicist, so this is really neat. So, the lateral swinging motion transfers from the pendulum on the right to the one on the left? Would that transfer back and forth if the model were allowed to run longer?

  • Yes it would under ideal circumstances. In reality energy will dissipate due friction.
