  • As a close friend said to me the other day, "killing innocent people, and being captured and tortured by the enemy we created does not make you a hero, It can make you crazy, but it doesn't make you presidential material."

  • why is he a hero anyway? being tortured makes you a "hero"? killing farmers makes you a hero? maybe if he hadn't cracked, it would've at least been somewhat impressive, if not exactly "heroic". but he cracked like a little crybaby - on record, haha!

  • Its weird that they can't find any negative stories on Obama.

  • But he did serve proudly in the U.S. Armed service, which makes him one of the best candidates we have in this presidential race. You can't get any better than that, sorry, but thats the truth.

  • I think ur both too way too harsh. the guy's political positions are horrendous, and fighting in vietnam was immoral, but that in no way justifies torture, and it was heroic of him to survive and behave the way he did. nonetheless, he is an exceptionally dangerous political figure because of his pro-war views.

  • he deserved every second of his torture - there i said it. voluntarily helping to kill all those innocent vietnamese civilians and families and children. too bad he got away. when you ask people what his positions are, they stare at you blankly and just say, "he's a hero". since when did a politician's positions become secondary to whether you think they're a "nice guy"? have you seen this monster's record? look up "political positions of john mccain" on wikipedia. sick, sick cracker
