There's such disdain for "big" business. There are unscrupulous businesses, but the market usually realizes it and stops doing business with them. Corporations are not monsters, but people from all levels of the social scale, working hard, contributing to the market and receiving a return on their investment. Rather then being obsessed with "equal results" which is discouraging, we should embrace the "equal opportunity" and strive for greatness in the pursuit of happiness.

That means many people in the developed countries, enjoying richer lives, just become fat and lazy, and do not want to put in hard word to compete with others.
