I would rather have a canidate who appeals to the emotion of hope, education, and tolerence then the republican idea that the preisdent is someone who will drink a beer with you... or will capitalize on hate and fear like that republican platforms for the past 40 years. Every republician president has declared a war, on drugs, hippies, terror... what is Obama doing? he is appealing to our better natures. I would hope that someone would be able to give us hope. Its better then the alternatives.
