Fantastic sound, but one small question, what does the horizontal symmetry controls really do?
-
@jamescigler Damn so i cant get this as a VCO,you got a alternative?:D
-
Thumbs up if you clicked this video thinking it was ACTUALLY about a Dalek voice
-
Great though demo. Thanks!
-
can it be portable, and how much is it.
-
you can make it shorter by editing OUT the talk-talk and simply writing what you want to say on-screen.
it might be a little more engaging than sitting through and forgetting a 2-min preamble, maybe?
the point is this: a picture's worth 1000 words, so don't tell me, SHOW ME :D
-
is there there any other modules by livewire apart from the ones explained on the website because they have a picture showing loads of livewire modules on the livewire website called random gates, analogue computation and and chaos computer
-
Yeah, because it's not like Dr. Who hasn't been over here since the 70s-80s. *rolls eyes*
-
I'm sure he is right, but it is as clear as mud to me ... :o) have a nice day everyone.

Keep in mind (i can't remember if I said this in the video) the CV in does not track 1v/Oct range. So if you are planning to use these as oscillators controlled by a keyboard...it's not going to work. For everything else though, go for it! :D

has it out to do with dalek voices?

This was answered in a previous comment, but essentially nothing. The Dalek voices from Doctor Who are created through the use of a Ring Modulator and this module is a ring modulator. Other than that, they aren't related at all.

demented circus music of the future! Thanks For the vid J..I def need to grab some of this dope live wire gear,I guess doepher is the cheapest/best starting point for intergrating with livewire right?

Yeah, for the standard building blocks (VCA, ADSR, etc) Doepfer is the cheapest/best starting point. Also check out Plan B's lineup (and/or my other Plan B vids).
