Michael Ian Black of Wet Hot American Summer, ED, Reno 911, and The State sits down to speak about his stance on gay rights and his career. Michael is one of the nicest most charming people I have ever interviewed and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to do this interview

Broadway Speaks OUT is hosted by Martin Gould Cummings.
Produced by MGC Productions which is headed by Martin Gould Cummings and Anthony Hollock.

  • And here I was thinking that Michael, who has always been my favorite comedian, was a bit of an asshole in real life.

This video has changed my view.

He seems very sincere in what he says, and just acts very sweet.

Also, on his blog, he stated that this was one of his favorite interviews he has ever done.

Ah, I love you so much more now, Michael. :)

  • And I feel the need to mention that Michael's racoon eyes and Puerto Rican mustache are hot.

    As is his hair.

  • What a sweet interview! You did a great job:) Nice to see Michael Ian Black being himself, and you're right, he seems very charming.

  • he looks kinda like Tom Delonge of Blink182 in this video, doesn't he?!hm.love him.

  • LOVE Will & Grace.

  • damn, so he's not really gay ?? aww, I'm so bummed!!

  • OK, watching you talk I could only think of Karen Walker saying, 'Jackie, was that two women or two men that we just talked to?'

  • Michael is sexy. Good job again Martin!!

  • Thank you for bucking the conventional wisdom that all gay drag queens are self-righteous thin-skinned, unbearable little divas. Even though your first response was veering that direction, you proved that you are not, and seem very down to earth.

  • Great video Marti! Michael Ian Black seems more fun and alive here than he does in VH1's I Love the 80s series.
