It is amazing how this video has been twisted, and falsely presented by the user who uploaded it!!!! This documentary by Discovery Channel is describing the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon (or Greek-Macedonia). It has nothing to do with the modern republic of Slavic/Albanian-Macedonia.

Its hilarious how Greek keyboard experts use their own historians as authority to prove their claims. These are the same historians who created this mess. Its like George W Bush's biographer writing a piece justifying the Iraqi invasion and 2000 yrs from now kids used his work as justification for the invasion and occupation.

Why does Alexander refer to them as "Greeks" and not Athenians/Thebans? They are clearly distancing themselves from Greeks, why do Greeks still insist they're the same.

Greeks are the people who share the greek language, the greek culture, the greek religion and the greek civilization no matter of colour or origin.

Macedonians, as well as Spartans, Athenians etc , shared all the above.

They used to fight each other as well, but that doesn't make them different nations.

Whoever doubts about the Origin of Macedonians, the only he has to do is to read History and /or to visit Vergina and the museums in Thesaloniki.After that all his questions will be answered.
