As much as I have always enjoyed George's music, I will not be some mindless fan who thinks he can do no wrong. He has a long history of drug abuse, & an english judge found him guilty of imprisoning & beating up a man in his home. The judge based this not only on testimony, but police & hospital pictures of SEVERE bruises & cuts which SHOCKED the judge. How so many fans ignore these facts is just morally wrong. George deserved prison for his crimes & to stop him from hurting himself & others.

I think drug has harmed George so much, both his appearance, his talent, his behaviour and his reputation, even though according to his autobiography he still thinks one of the greatest thing is to take drug! i wish him well though, for i am his die hard fan.

Argentineangelina - How incredibly sad that you are becoming a lawyer if you think it is ok to imprison, cut, beat, and humiliate another human being, as Boy George did to that man, and then not serve a full jail term for it.

I guess justice in Argentina hasn't changed much since Peron was in power, imprisoning and killing people at will. I will side with the English Judge in George's case who said the beating George's victim received was "shocking and immoral", than side with some student.

I have read your comment and what you say about the judge. Do you know I'm almost a lawyer and a Boy George fan as well? I study Criminal Law at Buenos Aires University and I consider that there is a scale in criminal law according to the offence so 15 months of prison was not proportional in this case . At last George was released. I feel a tremendous relief.
