CustomGuitarVideo.com Part 2 of the extensive GOURMET GUITARS® DVD feature about one of the most humble master luthiers we have ever met, Michael A. Lewis from Grass Valley, CA. The second sequel of the Michael A. Lewis story tries to find out what it takes to be or become a master in what you are doing. Alan Carruth compared guitar making with a religion, Stephan Schertler compares it with wine making and Michael A. Lewis compares it with racing motorcycles. He sums it up it his own simple words: You can only do masterwork, when you do master work!
Take the time for a trip in a spirit world, learn how the subtleties of life correlate with the subtleties in guitar making and enjoy one of our favorite features ever! Enjoy! This is GOURMET GUITARS ® at it's Best! Tastefully filmed and edited by Holger Obenaus.
Per the question below: The song at the beginning of this video is "Faded Love" and is played by me. (I'm not Michael Lewis, but I own one of his first arch top guitars and it is wonderful.)

I dig your philosophy Mike. Unfortunately the greed is what is marketed deceptively or not at the masses . Control is what is more important to those who actually run things. I dig how your life transitioned from participating in a dangerous sport to one seeking peace and happiness. I can relate. Nothing is wrong with the Earth if we respect it.
