It's no question where Koji Kondo got his inspiration for all the harp pieces in Ocarina of Time!

I really loved the performance as a quartet in a church for this piece - i got to play it in an orchestra - and because of the acoustic of the church it almost sounds like an orchestra is playing with the harp :)

I heard this for the first time about two years ago, and it made me want to begin my life again from scratch, this time with 'Danse Sacre et profane' as the soundtrack (because it's so lofty). I decided to be a sculptor, but when sculpture turned out to be harder than I imagined it, I dropped that ambtition. Yet, hearing it again now, I still feel that the music is calling me to a diffferent and better life.

Sacre et profane played in church, he.

Sacre et Profane are the White Summer and Black Mountain Side of impressionism: they compliment each other so much that even though they each sound good, they sound ten times better together.

@Schlorff That's what I was thinking (about the first violinist) ! I don't know why no one told him that this piece is not for him to shine here ! It's irritating when the violin is that loud, don't you think ? I just can't enjoy this music because of that violinist !

@Fuliginosus Don't let go. Music like this occasionally reminds us of what times were once like, even if we did not live in those times. This piece reminds us of better times in which the world revolved around the essence of life's beauty. Such things can only save us from what we live in now.
