outrunners arcade version

this is outrunners the fourth game in the outrun series not many people have played this game and if you havent then i suggest you do!!! it is also out on sega genesis so shaitin i want to see a copy of this in your next video of your new games!
this game in the arcade could link up to other machines and i had to change the video settings because it had two screens i set the second screen to my tv which sits above my computer. if you like outrun then get this game or play it on mame very fun to play with a steering wheel!!!

Don't know if its the wheel or the skills. Automatics are slower in acceleration and top speed. I do however wanna know what racing wheel you are using because its more arcade like instead of using a d pad

@DemonLordOdin454 A little of both, skill and the wheel??? Or lack there of? I no longer use this wheel I now use a Logitech Driving Force Pro GT.

I noticed from your video you have to turn the wheel quite far before the car moves, I had the same problem and just solved it. Right click OutRunners in MAME -> Properties -> controllers and where it says 'joystick deadzone' turn it down. For me, putting it at zero makes the game not start, but 0.05 works fine. Enjoy more accurate controls!

@DSDMovies Yeah I keep getting messages about the deadzone for my wheel. I have it adjusted already, I have had mame for a long time but my wheel just only works so well. Thanks for trying to help out!!!! I also have a mame arcade cab running gameex front end.

i in no way implied that this is the arcade machine for outrunners. the title says "arcade version" the "real deal" is always the best so i agree with you there.

if people cant tell the arcade machine from a pc set up running mame honestly thats not my fault. this video was just made to show how i play driving games on mame nothing more. i like games thats all and when people dont have nice things to say, why should i be nice?

all mame games state why the game isnt perfect when the rom starts
