Very good demonstration, but could you explain the "uncrossed" part of the name of this knitting style. I do regular continental, eastern continental, and continental combination, but I think my Eastern Continental and your "uncrossed" eastern are the same. ???

LOVE this! I just discovered that the 'eastern uncrossed' method is what I've been using for years. And I could never make a brioche stitch work from books!
THANKS!!!!!!

I was taught that when working a knit stitch, if you lay the yarn across the needle as demonstrated in the video, then it is called the Eastern Uncrossed method of knitting. I am not an expert so perhaps that is actually the "Eastern" method of knitting.
