  • I was taught that when working a knit stitch, if you lay the yarn across the needle as demonstrated in the video, then it is called the Eastern Uncrossed method of knitting. I am not an expert so perhaps that is actually the "Eastern" method of knitting.

  • Very good demonstration, but could you explain the "uncrossed" part of the name of this knitting style. I do regular continental, eastern continental, and continental combination, but I think my Eastern Continental and your "uncrossed" eastern are the same. ???
