While Carrie and Bo were no doubt the 2 best of that season, Anthony deserved 3rd place... I was SO TICKED when he got voted off before Vonzell ( I mean, Vonzell?? Really??).

he has a nice voice but he never really turned in an outstanding performance on idol. too bad, he could have done well.

I love anthony. he was my favorite american idol contestant of that year. he's funny, cute, and has an amazing voice. thanks for sharing the video.

Rather than listening to 5-yr-old clips, how about listening to something more recent. Especially "Close Every Door To Me" from "Joseph and the Amazinng Technicolor Dreamcoat" that he did last year.

I agree with @ahen236! Don't judge him! I've talked to him over Facebook and he's the kindest guy that you'll ever talk to! And watch other performances! Might I suggest "I surrender"? Believe me, this boy can sing....just not so much this song. But don't hate on him please.

The original is by two of the best singers of all times. They are both talented and technically good.
And this song is outside this boy's capability.

I've heard the original and am not a fan. Also, I know this guy and he's one of the most gifted, kindest people I've ever met. Perhaps before making judgements you should watch more than one performance, and something more recent than five years old.

sounds like some jerk in the local karaoke club, certainly not like someone who has singing talent
