Peter Gunn performed by me on tenor sax with The Greatest Hits at The Grand Opera House in Oshkosh Wisconsin on 1-20-02. Sorry about the quality, it's a VHS to VHS to DVD to mpg, stationary VHS camcorder in balcony. Great sound at this theater, sax sound from AKG condenser microphone in sax bell to Peavy amp on stage recorded with microphone from camcorder in balcony.

  • @lummoxedup I know this is a really late reply, the guitar players name is Dan Mullen, one of the best guitarists in Milwaukee. He plays in the renowned neo-psychedelic band Plasticland.

  • @mickd01 lol its ok .it happens to all of us sometimes

  • @altoids79762 Sorry man. I thought you were talking about us, and I was so upset I missed the part about not puffing your cheeks. I watched number 1 saxophone's Peter Gunn video. I'll just say, a very different rendition. I wouldn't say this is how it REALLY is supposed to be played. Sorry again man.

  • @mickd01 im not talking about your band yall are good im talking about number1saxophone and im just using a joke to decribe how bad he is playing

  • @altoids79762 You have no clue. This bunch of middle aged men have been playing in bands since their early 20's. As far as your critique on my playing, "puffed cheeks" are a sigh of bad technique. I really think you know absolutely nothing about saxophone, that "cornet" mouthpiece you refer to is a vintage metal Otto Link mouthpiece, one of the finest mouthpieces ever made.

  • @number1saxophone LMAO OK IT's just a bunch of middle aged men during their mid life crisis trying to play "music"even though yall suck balls.btw learn to play the sax you dont puff your cheeks when you blow into the instrument and try not to use a mouth peice of a cornet to play on the sax eaither use a real reed

  • @79762-allturds You only say that because you haven't seen my band's new Peter Gunn video. This version is a little slow and there's too much echo. Go ahead now, you know you want hear how it's REALLY supposed to be played.

  • @mickd01 Thanks for the response. I'll havta see if I can find plasticland on utube or wherever. Thanks!

  • this is the best i heard, you are supposed to play the song like this

  • i love the sound of a tenor sax growling!! :D
