Corel Video Studio Pro X2 Tutorial, Using Titles With Filters

A tutorial showing how you can use filters with titles. In Corel Video Studio you cannot overlay a filter onto the titles themselves it would only change the background the titles are on. This tutorial shows you can apply a filter to the titles themselvesf, such as making the titles shake. You are actually producing a video clip of the finished titles and then applying the filter to the whole clip

You can get quite a variety of different effects using this method

I'm a bit of a "Corel-novice" - trying to learn, and I always find your tutorials really helpful. There's something i'm attempting to try, but i'm not sure it's possible. What i'd like to do is have a plain background colour, with a word/title - with video showing only through the letters themselves, and not through the bg.

Would you know if this is possible at all? (I'm using Corel videostudio x2)
