FYI I just bought this and I can only record up to 43 minutes with the "2GB" stick that came with it. The ThinkGeek website advertises 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Not bad, but 640x480 is pretty horrid. Too bad it is still a trade off, higher res=bigger camera. Want optical zoom? Get ready to carry a big conspicuous mammajamma around... Oh well, in 1980, Camcorders weighed 15 lbs...maybe in a few years something that small will have 70x zoom and full HD, one can hope. :)

Yes it does - plus, it has a sounds-sensitive switch so you can set it to only record when it hears something > 65db.
