SHOULDER BELAY: This is a common guides tool. However it is also the most commonly misused belay in the mountaineering world. Young guides will often use this tool far to much and put themselves and their clients at risk. The footage is from a Yamnuska Mountain School staff training with ACMG instructors. If you take people out into the mountains and act as a trip leader this is worth watching.
