Another Salmon Landed Credit River Erindale Park Mississauga Ontario

Fishing for salmon in the Credit River in Mississauga Ontario peaks in September, and Erindale Park is a popular site for river fishing.

The salmon caught in this video gave the fishernan a good 'walk' for his money, as he went up the river for a good distance.

The video is about 3 1/2 minutes long, with at least double that amount of time cut out.

Not the best time of day to be filming, from the east side of the river, since some shots are almost directly into the light.

But I was as happy to have been able to catch these shots as the fisherman was happy to have caught the salmon.

He did release it, though the fish helped in its own escape.

August 16 2011 http://snapshot-travel-blog.blogspot.com/2011/08/great-ontario-salmon-derby-2... The salmon are being caught closer to shore this week in Port Credit. Some small salmon being caught under the Lakeshore Road bridge. Boats now fishing about 1-2 km from shore.
