Ranger C6 Z06 10.74 Bone-Stock on DRs (Drag Radials)

This C6 Z06 is owned and driven by Ranger. This pass of 10.74 129.50 is the current record for a bone-stock C6 Z06 running drag radial tires.

Pass was made at Maryland International Raceway in Budds Creek on December 16, 2009. 60' time was 1.59. Wind was not a factor, as it was blowing across the lane, left to right. Other passes in the sequence were 10.85, 10.87, 10.81, all on identical 60' of 1.67.

fastest top speed: 1500+whp AMS Alpha12 GTR = 205.3mph (slower than a stock 505bhp C6 Z06)

@need2speed94 I also respect the GTR not being your cup of tea. Nothing wrong with loving a C6Z. How can you not. If you think about it, a used 2006 C6Z can be bought for low 40's or high 30's now and if driven correctly, with a DR in negative DA, high 10's are possible. I live close to these fast tracks so I have the magic air these guys have as well! A used GTR is still priced a bit steep for me considering they have upgraded 2 times now from the 1st gen.

@need2speed94 yes but the modded vs stock car is a ricer argument that both C6ZO6 owners and GTR owners would probably agree on. Both cars are priced close enough to be compared, especially if it's the ZO7 equipped C6Z. Stock for stock they do many things great. I do think the 2012 GTR really improved especially in trap speed and roll race capabilities. This was the one area where a stock LS7 Z would crush a 2009-11 GTR. This has changed now but still a great driver in a Z will win
