Artistes Contre la Violence - African Hip-Hop Against Violence

A project arranged by Hip-Hop Cultural Ambassador, Toni Blackman. The video was a collaboration between American and Congolese hip-hop artists. The lyrics, recorded in French and English, express themes of anti-violence.

This song includes many talented artists from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Lexxus arranged the production team, selected the artists and we all came together to create this song as a PSA to promote ending violence against women in DRC. It was made possible in part by the US Department of State's Cultural Affairs Division. It was recorded in December of 2007.
