Indeed it is sad. I feel sorry for people that just download and don't get the excitement of unwrapping a piece of art, looking at the artwork in detail, the lyrics and then hearing a nice warm sound of a cd or record. Oh well, sucks to be them :D

cd's are purely digital, so the nice warm sound is identical, if not worse than a lossless flac recording, if of course you rip the cd in a lossy audio format. As for records, you need a superb record player and stereo system, not to mention incredibly sharp ears, to notice any difference in overall sound quality. This isn't considering the possibility that the record may have different EQ than an mp3 or what have you, so it may sound more bassy giving it a "warmer" tone.

Well, in a month you'd need around 3500 pesos on basic needs, but as I was saying, it's around 200 pesos for an imported CD. I'm thankful that I live with my parents and I don't spend all my money on living, and I can afford buying one or two of these CDs a month.

Well if you Pay 50-70 Pesos für one CD its a good Course.

Ive Paid about 113.89Pesos (changed online) for this Album, and I did not import.

it was normal on the shelf at a local Hi-Fi marked.

But I do not know how much money you have to live for a month in argentinia.

A normal cd costs about 107.19Pesos here in germany ~ 16€

I know it does not have anything to do with the original comment since he is a fucktard, but for example, in countries like mine (argentina) it's absolutely difficult to buy this, we have no market for metal from other countries, but then again, we have iTunes. Anyhow, buying them as an imported album costs a lot of money (a normal locally printed album costs between 50-70 pesos, whereas, something imported, costs around 200, and add some other 50 from shipment (around 30-50 usd for one cd :/)

Its true, artists dont get much money at all from there CDs, the record companies pay for the production of the album and the physical copies. Its like a loan because the band has to pay back the money with there music selling in CD format.
