Otomedius Excellent EX Stage 1 DLC St. Gradius Academy

It's Anch here yet again. Let's take a tour inside St. Gradius Campus.

The penguins (from Gorgeous) Are back and the Penguin ducker as well.
So the whole St. Gradius campus is filled with penguins? 0_o

And as we approach the underground facility of St. Gradius, There's their simulation room and brings up graphics from Getsu Fuumaden.

And the final boss is... Konami Lady with her "Space ship"
And......... it's weird. I know.

Overall, St. Gradius EX Stage 1 is fairly hard. There are some cheap parts where the bombs are dropping directly above you and enemies that fly from the rear. (Those cheap bastards)

Konami Woman and that inter-dimensional thing came with Konami Man and Getsu Fuuma from Konami Wai Wai World, according to dieKatze last night when he played the stage on stream and commented on it.

@SFCatgirlFanatic Ayup. But as of today, only 1 DLC stage is available. Maybe next week, another stage DLC will be released.

Also, the character costume DLC comes with a unique weapon.

@Korszca NOW we all know the ship's origins. That's the only bit dieKatze didn't know when he talked about the stage, the boss and the room in which we fight Konami Woman, last night in the chat of his streaming of playing Excellent. Thanks for sharing that info.

The boss isn't weird, it's the player's ship from Scramble, the granddaddy of Gradius and all of Konami's shmups! We're trying to keep a running tally of all the cameos over on my video.
