Etta James "At Last" Kathryn Lanpher Cy Idol Finals 04 16 2009

Kathryn Lanpher performs Etta James "At Last" at Cyclone Idol, at C.Y. Stephens Auditorium, Iowa State University In Ames, Iowa on Thursday April 16, 2009. This was Katie's 2nd time ever singing in public on a stage of any kind. The first time was last week at Cyclone Idol Prelims. She did not place, but we all thought she did an incredible job! She has done private recordings which I have put up on video, but has always been too shy to perform live or even on a video until just last week!!! So, go Katie! you are a wonder!!!

Mario Vasquez was the Master of Ceremonies for the night. He also performed for the crowd and I have to say, as usual he was flawless. His voice is amazing!!! He was such a wonderful host - and very very personable - a very very nice guy! We wish him every success - as he certainly deserves it!!!
