This is based on my first prototype of the VTOL Lift Fan principle. As I tested the first aircraft in X-plane i've experienced some difficulties where upon i decided to take the measures neccesary to make an advanced design based on the first concept

  • LABEL THESE THINGS AS " SIMULATION" so we who like to watch the real thing don't waist our FREAK'N time !!!!!!!!!

  • @carlosmurphy4u maybe you were allready waisting your time by watching what others do... Before you know your life is over and you are an old bitter man unhappy about its achievements and victories in life because you were only watching stupid simulations and other unwanted bullshit!! You are waisting my time by writing me how stupid you think my video's are. Well i can tell you one thing. maybe i'm just doing my real job???

  • I like the initial idea, but I don't like the fact that the propulsion systems are so exposed , knock one of those things off and it will make the entire thing unbalanced. Even if the other propellers could compensate it would compromise the machines ability to maneuver quickly. Also, is there any place for ordinance or is it a recon plane?

  • you are unfortunatelly right!! compensation for loss off power by one proppeller is a must however bot integrated into this design. place for mission equipment is possible however will need to fit an attachment winglet in centre

  • Your design is excellent but it' s NOT efficient. The 4 smaller fans and the large mid fan see to work excellent but I' d ditch the turtle head as it causes imbalance to the whole system as well as you are using too much power to hold it in mid- air which will translate in poor fuel efficiency.

You should add some aerodynamic lift by placing two large wings, one on each side of the donut body. Then you' ll also be able to manouver like real plane, or VTOL, etc. It will llok cooler too.

  • correct only partially. because adding wings makes it instable

  • @mountainLeader001 Nah he's right its an unworkable design unless your made of power it has an insubstantial lifting body and to many thrusters ie excess redundancy and over weight, so like he said not so much a test as it is a cartoon :-/

  • What software is this? can you design your own aircaft and test its true/simulated affects of different props and desing changes? very interested

  • it's like a turtle :D

  • im so sick of this song

  • nice vid but i have looked and looked can someone tell whwt the song is called

  • For some reason i like the word prototype. And when i get X-Plane i'm going to create loads of planes that would never work in real life and, i really like the design of this creative craft.

  • @1035573 argument is NOT valid because... IT'S A GAME! IT DOES NOT MATTER IF IT WOULD FLY IN REAL BLOODY LIFE! The game's purpose is to have fun making planes and flying them and it is efficient since it flies on the game.

  • very good music!
