  • the sprinters has grown alot the last years... they finish at speeds above 50 km/h these days

  • @richter75 im sry, this comment was completely stupid, if you watched tdf this year, at the stage to bruxelles they were was going in over 65 km/h in headwind the last 5 k. the pace is higher now than 15 yrs ago!

  • @GUNSSLASHANDANGUS Mark Cavendish pushes 70 kph topspeed in sprints.

  • That depends really on the road before the sprint takes place, u can never go fully out if it had a slight slope right before the sprint. I've seen Thor finnish with 70km/h once, but I've also seen him finnish with only 30km/h. So yeah, really depending on the road. Not just their spirit and legs.
