No, for the five specials, the Doctor has a different companion, until Series 5 where he has a regular companion again. The lineup of future stories and companions is as follows:

I used to love doctor who... but now im addicted to primeval. its just a little more grown up. i do wach doctor who SOMETIMES, but i miss 2 weeks. i never miss primeval, i wach the episodes AND repeats, and i wach it AGAIN on youtube and itv player!!! = D

Cushing's Doctor wasn't official. His existed in a parallel universe, where the main character was a human scientist called Dr Who(Who is his surname)and the only threat that he fought was the Daleks. The two 1960s big-screen colour movies were basically re-tellings of the first two Dalek stories that starred William Hartnell as the first Doctor. Also Ian and Barbara were boyfriend and girlfriend(as well as Barbara being the Doctor's grandaughter alongside Susan) and the Doctor was more kind.

i was well happy to know i was a couple steps away from david tennant but i didnt get to see him coz they were always filming but it was greta to the doctor and the gang running around in action was well wicked.... cant wait to see the show christmas day
