  • Dear friends,

If you suffer from this disease, take this:

    -High quality aloe vera tablets

-always have cabbage + carrot juices

    -Omega3 high quality fish oil.

    -No more dairy

    -try less gluten

    -sport

    -Cut down on stress

and your life will be much better (promise)

  • It absolutely PAINS me to read comments from people who believe their only recourse from UC is surgery. I am LIVING PROOF to myself that I can live a normal life, free of surgery and (after an initial spell) free of drugs after being diagnosed with Chronic Ulcerative Colitis (and trust me, the initial flareup was FIERCE). Why should you have to resort to surgery? Click on my name, check out my first video, and join in the discussion!

  • i also had those. same surgeries and i am 12 the mediciens just wernt working

  • @samsplace21 I also have Uc I was Diagnosed shortly after my 11 birthday you are very blessed to have found somethign that works and it seems you didn't lose alot of wait i lost over 30 in 3 weeks but I am blessed to be medicine free and flare-up free for 2 years

  • Remicade is a miracle drug for me and nothing has happened since I've been on it. WOO.

  • im 14 years old i got diagnosed at first with a small acute proctitis, and within 2 months after i was diagnosed with full on UC. i experianced to feirce flare ups, each lasting about a months. i lost about 14 pounds. but after taking a high dose of asacol and prednisone i was feeling fine.

  • im on steroids and remicade and it works fine for me :)

  • im 14 i got it like 2 years ago in 8th grade. i dont know what i had my whole digestive tract was ulceratide from stomach to end. i was bleeding like hell about the size of a cup per bm. i lost like 35 pounds in a week and a 1/2. my doc said it was uc. i tried taking steroids but they eventually failed. and it came back. then i went to panarama city during the 3rd week of highschool. they fixed me up in a month. now im on 6mp and i havent had any blood for months try the drug it was a godsend.

  • I was recently diagnosed with UC, and i manage mine with Anti-inflammatory-Pentasa and Steroid-Predinsolone. I really put off going to the Dr for month thinking i was going to get better (this was before knowing i had UC) My message is never be embarassed to visit the Dr about anything! I was and i regret it to this day. Although i am fine now i would never wish that sort of pain and worry on my worst enemy! PLEASE BE MORE AWARE OF IBDs! xx

  • Kinda funny when people try to tell us who are suffering with UC to cut down on stress. Really?? I can't work which means no income, I can't eat which means no nourishment, I can't do anything because I have no energy, oh and let's not forget the CONSTANT pain in my gut! So how exactly is one supposed to cut down on stress during the most stressful time of their lives? I haven't figured that one out yet.

  • I have this disease. Your story is so inspiring to me <3 Kisses from Portugal

  • @stevem4545

I watched a video about using a juice machine to separate the valuable nutrients of the cruciferous vegetables (show to fight inflammation and cancer) from the hard to digest pulp/fibre. My saviour: a daily dose of mixed vegetable juice from putting brocolli, cauliflower, carrots, spinach and cabbage through my juicer. Everyone is different and no solution is universal but this has me symptom free, stops flares in a couple days and prevents cancer. Please try this and live better
