US Northeast battered by major snow storm

A huge storm with hurricane-force wind gusts and blizzard conditions has dumped more than 0.6m of snow across the US Northeast and knocked out power to more than 650,000 homes and businesses in a densely populated region of about 25 million between New York City and Boston. By Saturday, Airlines had cancelled more than 5,300 flights through Saturday, and the three major airports serving New York City, as well as Boston's Logan Airport, closed. At least six deaths were blamed on the storm, including three in Canada. Al Jazeera's Kristen Saloomey reports from New York.

I have never seen so much snow come down in one day in my life. I went outside at about 2am to look at things then woke up at 5am to get ready and possibly drive to work, and I saw a fresh new foot of windblown snow all over.

Here in my Part of Texas even though its Rainy Today, it s not cold, barely even cool, most nights Ive had to the air conditioner.Tommorrow it'll be 78. Sorry Northeast,but I may take a walk in the sun,maybe have a pre spring picnic, I'll be working up a sweat ,wearing my shorts,Yall Survive ,yall keep warm,I don't even remember what snow looks like,LOL
