@VegaNadir I was in no way deflecting from the subject. I was simply using FDR as an example of a past president whose full name is almost always used, and with no negative connotations intended. It's true I don't trust Obama as far as I can throw him, and I'm not a lone in feeling that way. However I am in no way bigoted. My feelings of mistrust have nothing to do with his race, skin color or religion.
@VegaNadir I wasn't deflecting from the subject at all. I simply trying to make the point that the fact that people often use Obama's entire name in reference to him in no way suggests anything derogatory, or bigoted. Using FDR as an example of a president whose entire name is almost always used, and with no negative intentions. You are dead set on finding a reason to think of me as closed minded or bigoted but you will never find one, that's just not the type of person I am..
I have a fair level of self-awareness. I've spent many years trying to understand myself and be mindful of what my true agenda is, even if it was ugly. It has helped me understand others more, as well. People should try to be self-aware and ask those questions, speak with integrity and, to the best of their ability, offer a true representation of their intentions. You can still talk about Franklin Theodore Roosevelt, but I hope you'll think about what I've said. Take care.
I was never talking about Franklin Roosevelt and I didn't think you were, either. The only times I have ever heard anyone call him "Barack Hussein Obama" were either when making or implying something derogatory and bigoted or when making reference to it. There is no need to deflect from the issue you were presented with other than with the intent of obfuscating it, unless you, yourself, didn't even see that you were doing it.
@VegaNadir I look down my nose at no one. I don't think people are lower than me because they follow the masses, I just think they're brain washed. Most often, it's not even their fault. 0 ........ 0 Isn't Barack Hussein Obama his name? People often use all 3 names in reference to a president. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say Franklin Roosevelt, it's always Franklin Deleno Roosevelt.
@purity4all I never understand why people who say "sheeple" don't notice any irony. I wouldn't expect someone who looks down their nose at people they think are followers would try to illustrate this perspective with fad slang like "sheeple". Also, I remember a very strong anti-Obama following who made it popular to pointedly refer to him as "Barack HUSSEIN Obama". I couldn't help but immediately take note of that.
@abbazin102 Oh Yes, All Hail the mighty Barak Hussein Obama! Remember when people were calling him the messiah? Come on Sheeple Wake up! Yes, ALL organized religion is no different than government. It's all about control.
@purity4all Yeah I know that but what if the same people who have been twisting it time after time were the first to create it. Religon is control , it is the strings, and the pupet masters throne. If I told the world I was the messiah and I knew more then the people they would beleive it because thats whats happening today. The goverment is our savior They Army dies for us and scientist who are paid by the government tell you to buy a magic health potion thats works unless you ask questions.
