I wanted to say thank you SOOOOOO much! I used this tutorial for the bloomers I made for a concert [Emilie Autumn] and I made it THE DAY OF! Only took me an hour and a half [never made clothes before!] this was so helpful and so easy! :D :D :D I made one side black and the other a light pink [to match a corset] and it worked WONDERFULLY. <3 <3 <3

You made this ages ago and still do not have the step by step posted on your web site. Are you ever going to get around to it?

if you made the length longer, could you do this for harem pants?

@shfoodluver It would probably work, but I also have a tutorial specifically for harem pants.

So, you cute out two pieces and laid them one atop the other before folding in half? You just made the length the measurement + the eight inches, and the width is the fabric width?

@kitkattcassy yup

What does the width of the fabric determine on the bloomers? I feel like I may need to cut down the 45 inch to something smaller but I'm not sure how much I have to cut off... I'm trying to make bloomers for my friend but she's a size 0 and sometimes even XS clothing is a bit too big for her- at least, mainly concerning her waist and hip when I was trying to buy her a dress. @DemonMaiden The width determines how puffy they are.
