The sad reality is that this has been a tradition for thousands of years across the world. And that, despite fishing regulations and more, people still do it every day. It may have been a sustainable tradition before, since we didn't fish so heavily hundreds and thousands of years ago, but this has become a crime. How would you like to have your arms and legs cut off and then just be left to rot?
