Kri - Elmer och Holger för evigt

In the small Swedish town where I live, Köping, there is a rocky hill where I often take walks. Once I there noticed an inscription on a stone: Two names and a date. The date was hard to read but it was in 1923. The names: Elmer and Holger. This inspired my imagination: Who were these boys? And so I wrote this song. The title translates "Elmer and Holger forever," because the memory of their friendship will last forever, at least as long as the stone lies on that hill.
