This is a AC/DC-style shuffle jam with a Gibson SG and a Peavey Classic 30.
Guitar and bass were recorded with a Shure SM57 into an Alesis Multimix 4USB.

  • And most importantly - have you used the EQ of the audio interface?

  • @bushibayushi Guitar straight into the overdrivechannel without boost or stompboxes. No, I didn't used the EQ of the interface.

    Rythm-Pre = ~10 o'clock

    Lead-Pre = ~1-2 o'clock

    Post = ~9 o'clock

    Reverb = ~8-9 o'clock

    Bass = ~3 o'clock

    Middle = ~2 o'clock (I keep the mids pretty low for recordings, cause with to much mids, it sounds to boxy for me.)

    Treble = ~2 o'clock

  • Why do you put tape on the amp near the mic?

  • @Brad0451 It marks a good position for the mic.
