The arsonists who set fire to the Church are possibly the same scum who have been vandalising the Churchyard for years. Why is this allowed to continue, even now after the fire, almost daily vandalism is taking place, fire are being lit in the Churchyard, Monuments are being destroyed and nothing constructive is being done about it by the people charged with protecting our property!!!!

Well, I'm sad, I used to watch this church every saturday, well , now it's covered in sheets of white, from the re-building of it.

well, i was speaking to a parishioner the other day, who now all think that it was started inside, by accident, by a ciggerate. Interesting, but i know the church (as in the parish itself, not the diocese) are having to pick up all the costs of the whole of the inside, which is half a million at the moment. The rest has been claimed back on insurance, all 7 million of it

my m8 lives near that church and she saw it go up in smoke, i have never been in it but it was a wonderful church and i hope who ever did it gets caught and they shud b ashamed

October 4th,2007 was the most saddest day of my life,as we lost our lovely church to that fire.I still cant get over the loss 3 months on.

Don't know what I'm going to do now.I loved this church,it meant a lot to me.Was a beautiful church.This fire should never have happened to st barnabas.I'm heartbroken

its a terrible thing whats happened.how can these arsonists do this to our church.I cant beleive this has happened,I'm still reeling from the shock three months on,and still feel upset about it.Its hard to watch these videos as I find it so upseting.
